On Wednesday, May 15th, two Johns Creek High School track and field athletes participated in their Athletic Signing Ceremony.
Anna Conroy has only been a part of track and field for a year and a half but has proven herself to be an awesome pole-vaulter and will continue her experience at Kennesaw State University. A list of Anna’s accomplishments includes: being a scholar-athlete, varsity letterman, member of National Honor Society, member of National English Honor Society, admitted to KSU Honors College, 2019 Region Champion in Pole Vault, 2019 State Runner-up in Pole Vault, member of 2018 Region Winning Team.
Jack Hoben has been a cross country, track athlete for nine years, including all four at Johns Creek High School. He will continue his running experience this fall at Samford University. A list of Jack’s awards and achievements include: being a four-year letterman in cross country and track and field, 2016 Track Rookie of the Year, 2018 MVP Distance Runner, 2019 State Finalist in the 800m, 2018 Cross Country MVP, 2018 Gladiator Award recipient in Cross Country, 2018 DMR record holder (11:01.04), 2nd Place all-time cross country JCHS record holder (16:32.86), recipient of the 2019 Coach’s Award for Track and Field, MVP Distance Award, and the 2019 Gladiator Award.
