Coed Varsity Swimming · Congratulations to the JCHS 2020 Swim/Dive State Team


CONGRATULATIONS to the 2020 Johns Creek High School Swim/Dive Team.   The Men’s Team placed 3rd at the 6A State Championship with an overall score of 305.  The Women’s Team placed 5th in 6A with a score of 195.  The team was coached by Head Coach Steve Johnson and Assistant Coach Rhonda Johnson.  Great job to all swimmers and divers involved with the 2020 State Meet!  See the list of the JCHS State Team below:

A few highlights of the meet include the following:

Three JCHS records were broken:

Boys 200 Individual Medley: Andrew Simmons (1:47.96)

Boys 200 free relay: David Hsi, Taylor Eaton, Jason Bao and Jason Steel (1:25.27)

Girls 100 breaststroke: Addie Farrington (1:01.44)

Two NISCA All America times (All American-A in the chart below) were achieved by Andrew Simmons (200 IM) and Addie Farrington (100 breaststroke)

Four NISCA All America-Consideration times (All American-C) were achieved by the boys 400 medley relay, the boys 200 free relay, along with Andrew Simmons (100 back), and Addie Farrington (200 IM).  Times are listed below in the results section.
