Coach Keenan Temple

Coach Keenan Temple is a native of Muncie, Indiana. A three-sport student-athlete in high school, Temple went on to play basketball at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After a knee injury sidelined his playing career, Temple returned home to attend Ball State University and immediately began coaching. Temple coached at the middle school and high school levels prior to graduating from Ball State with a Degree in Secondary Education. Following graduation, Temple spent seven years coaching basketball Indiana before deciding it was time to move to a warmer climate.

Coach Temple began his coaching career in Georgia at Norcross High School on the staff of Coach Eddie Martin.. During his tenure, Norcross won three straight state titles and sent multiple players on to play college and pro basketball becoming one of the top high school programs in Georgia. Temple left Norcross to take the head coaching position at Parkview High School. While at Parkview, the program improved and numerous players went on to play at the collegiate level. After three years at Parkview, Temple joined Coach Scott Bracco’s staff at Lambert High School. During his time at Lambert, the program compiled at 92-28 record and won back to back region championships making the sweet sixteen three years in a row.

In addition to coaching, Coach Temple equally enjoys his time in the classroom. He is a certified AP US History teacher and is currently in his 19th year teaching social studies. Temple looks forward to teaching social studies at Johns Creek High School.

Temple has been married to his wife Kathleen for fifteen years. They have lived in the Johns Creek community for the past 10 years. They have three children Aidan (11), and twins Brody (7) and Payton (7). Coach Temple has been very active in the community coaching various youth baseball teams and is currently serving as the VP of Baseball for the Ocee Park Athletic Association.
