Johns Creek earned a solid 12–8 win over Woodstock High School on Monday night, putting together a steady performance on both ends of the field. The Gladiators controlled key stretches of the game and relied on balanced contributions to secure the victory.
Will Dell’Orto was named Player of the Game after delivering an outstanding all‑around effort. Dell’Orto scored 3 goals, won every faceoff he took, and collected 8 ground balls, helping Johns Creek maintain possession and pace throughout the contest.
Defensively, David Scruggs led the way with 7 caused turnovers and 4 ground balls. His ability to disrupt Woodstock’s offense played a major role in limiting scoring opportunities and setting the tone for the defensive unit.
On the offensive end, Tyler Hampson earned Offensive Player of the Game honors with a 4‑goal performance while also adding 6 ground balls. His finishing around the crease and ability to generate second‑chance possessions were key to the Gladiators’ scoring success.
The win marks another positive step for Johns Creek as the team continues to build consistency heading into the heart of the season.
