Gladiator Athletics is proud to recognize Savannah Davis as the February Coach of the Month for Johns Creek High School. In only her second year with the Gladiators tennis program, Coach Davis has already made a profound and lasting impact—on her athletes, her students, and her colleagues. Her genuine kindness, tireless work ethic, and commitment to continuous learning have made her an invaluable part of the Johns Creek community.

When Savannah stepped into coaching tennis last year—a sport that was new to her—she embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and humility. Rather than shy away from the unfamiliar, she leaned in, dedicating herself to understanding the game at a deeper level so she could better serve her athletes.

Assistant Tennis Coach Martha Jordaan shares:

“Savannah is an exceptionally organized individual who manages the tennis program with efficiency. Her soft-spoken demeanor never diminishes the clarity or impact of her message, and she consistently accomplishes tasks in an impressively timely manner.”

Her athletes consistently praise her ability to build confidence and create a stable, uplifting environment. Savannah listens, encourages, and supports each player regardless of skill level—making every athlete feel valued.

Savannah’s excellence is not confined to coaching. In theclassroom, she brings the same level of dedication, professionalism, and compassion to her role as a math teacher.
