Sharma inked his commitment yesterday afternoon, marking a major milestone in a standout high school career defined by leadership, discipline, and extraordinary competitive growth.
Sharma has been a member of the Johns Creek golf program for all four years, developing into one of the school’s most respected student‑athletes both on and off the course. During his time at Johns Creek, Sharma rose through the ranks to become a team captain, providing steady leadership and setting a high standard for his teammates.
In 2024, Sharma earned one of the state’s most prestigious honors: GSGA Most Improved Player of the Year. This recognition reflected his relentless work ethic, dramatic year‑to‑year performance gains, and commitment to elevating his game. His improvement and competitive consistency helped position the Johns Creek golf program as one of the region’s most reliable contenders.

Johns Creek’s Pragya Modgil Commits to California Institute of Technology - Caltech)
Johns Creek High School proudly announces that senior Pragya Modgil has committed to continue her academic career at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, California—one of the world’s most respected STEM institutions. Modgil has been a standout member of both the cross country and track & field programs during her four years at Johns Creek, all while distinguishing herself as one of the school’s most accomplished scholars and student leaders.
Modgil competed in four years of track and three years of cross country, earning varsity letters in both sports during her junior and senior seasons. She represented Johns Creek on the girls’ cross country state teams in both 11th and 12th grades and served as team captain her senior year, providing leadership rooted in positivity, discipline, and accountability.
Her excellence has been consistently recognized. Modgil earned Coach’s Awards in both sports and received the Cross Country Academic Award in back-to-back years for having the highest GPA on the team. She was named a Scholar Athlete throughout high school, balancing demanding training schedules with elite academic pursuits.
On the track, Modgil delivered impressive performances including a top‑10 finish at the 2025 Fulton County Championships, and she competed at the region meet in the 800 meters and as the anchor of the 4×800 relay.
Beyond athletics, Modgil has established herself as one of Johns Creek’s most accomplished STEM students. She is a National Merit Semifinalist and a 2025 NCWIT Georgia Award Winner, recognizing her achievements and leadership in computing and engineering.
Her research résumé is extraordinary. Modgil has conducted advanced scientific research with Emory University and NASA, working on projects focused on human health, environmental science, and innovative engineering solutions. Her work earned selection for presentation at the International Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Conference in both 2024 and 2025, a rare distinction for a high school researcher.
At Johns Creek, she helped found the JCHS STEM Research Club and holds leadership roles within the school’s robotics program, which has qualified for the state championships three consecutive years. Johns Creek’s Donny Myers Signs to Play Baseball at Mount St. Joseph University
Johns Creek High School proudly announces that senior Donny Myers has committed to continue his baseball career at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Myers becomes the latest Gladiator to advance to the collegiate level, showcasing years of dedication, development, and competitive spirit on and off the field.
Myers has been a member of the Johns Creek baseball program for all 4 years, growing through the youth system and high school ranks to become a reliable presence within the program. As a freshman, he was recognized as the Freshman Team MVP, an early indication of his work ethic and potential.
Under the guidance of Coaches Billy Nicholson & Jim Ernst, Myers has continued to build his skills, earning the respect of both teammates and coaching staff. Known for his commitment, positive attitude, and team‑first approach, he has been a steady contributor to the culture of Johns Creek baseball.

Johns Creek High School proudly celebrates senior Julia Pou, who has officially committed to continue her academic and athletic career at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. A standout in the Swim & Dive program for the past 2 years, Pou has developed into one of the most decorated athletes in school history and a leader within the program under Coach Jordan Smith.
Pou’s accomplishments in the water are extraordinary. She is a three‑time Scholastic All‑American, demonstrating elite performance both in the classroom and in competition. In 2025, she captured the GHSA 5A Women’s 200 Individual Medley State Championship, a performance that highlighted her versatility, technical mastery, and competitive drive.
Her achievements extend beyond the high school season. Pou is a USA Swimming Summer and Winter Junior Nationals qualifier, placing her among the nation’s top swimmers in her age group and earning her recognition on a national stage.

A dedicated member of the swim program for 4 years, Fleischer has built a strong competitive résumé while excelling academically and serving as a model student‑athlete.
Throughout his swimming career, Fleischer has consistently delivered strong performances at both the state and senior‑level stages. He is a three‑time Senior State Finalist and a four‑time GHSA State Finalist, showcasing his ability to compete and succeed against some of the top swimmers in Georgia and beyond.
Under the guidance of Coach Smith, Fleischer has grown into a reliable and disciplined athlete—one who brings consistency, effort, and team spirit to every practice and meet.
Fleischer’s achievements extend well beyond the pool. With a 3.7 GPA, he has earned recognition as a Scholar Athlete and has consistently been named to the Honor Roll.
