Gladiators Announce New Head Football Coach
We are excited to announce Jason Tester as the new Head Football Coach for Johns Creek High School! Please join us in welcoming Coach Tester and his family to Gladiator Nation.
Coach Tester brings an impressive background and a proven ability to turn programs around. With 21 years of playoff experience, he has successfully led and contributed to multiple high school football programs across Georgia and Michigan. His coaching history includes:
- Flowery Branch HS – Head Coach
- Eastside HS – Defensive Coordinator
- Brookwood HS – Defensive Coordinator
- Grand Haven HS (MI) – Head Coach
- Grayson HS – Assistant Coach
- St. Pius X – Assistant Coach
- Grand Rapids Northview (MI) – Defensive Coordinator
- Muskegon Catholic Central (MI) – Assistant Coach
As a player, Coach Tester was a standout at Muskegon Catholic Central (MI), serving as LB/TE/Captain and helping his team win the 1990 State Championship. He continued his education at Grand Valley State University.
We are excited to bring Coach Tester and his family to Johns Creek. He is a strong leader who has excelled in helping student athletes during his entire coaching career. We look forward to the next chapter of Gladiator football with Coach Tester leading the charge. Coach Tester is passionate about building a strong culture and is eager to lead Johns Creek football to new heights. He and his wife, Cari, along with their children Graham (16), Edyn (14), and Leo (8), are excited to become part of our community.
