Johns Creek continued its impressive run through region play with a decisive 66–44 win over the Roswell Hornets at the Hornets Nest.

The game opened with a dramatic moment: Tatum Holmes jumped a passing lane for a steal and took off for a breakaway dunk. Roswell junior Trey Phillips challenged the attempt, and both players crashed hard to the floor. Phillips suffered an ankle injury on the play and was unable to return, leaving the Hornets without a key starter for the remainder of the night.

The Gladiators quickly capitalized. Holmes led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points and several highlight‑reel dunks. Ben Uhde added 15, and Anthony Poller chipped in 10 while continuing to fill the point‑guard role in place of the injured Christian Cooper.

With the win, Johns Creek improves to 7–1 in region play, 18-3 overall, holding firm in second place. Roswell drops to 2–7, still searching for consistency after a tough stretch of injuries and close losses.

Winning at Roswell is never easy, making this a meaningful road victory for the Gladiators. After a break on Tuesday, Johns Creek returns home Friday for a major showdown against third‑place Milton—a matchup that could have real implications for the standings.
