In a packed and electric gym at Milton, the Johns Creek Gladiators delivered another statement victory, knocking off the Eagles 56-53 to remain undefeated in region play. Milton entered the night with just one region loss — a tight battle with Gainesville — setting the stage for a heavyweight matchup.

Johns Creek carried a four‑point lead into halftime thanks to a balanced offensive effort and a locked‑in defensive approach aimed at slowing Milton standouts Solomon Bratton and Jackson Harrison. Tate Golden gave the Gladiators trouble early, but JC’s composure held.

The second half swung back and forth until the fourth quarter, when Tatum Holmes and Christian Cooper seized control. Cooper finished with 14 points and was flawless at the line, going 9-for-9 as part of Johns Creek’s impressive 14-for-15 team performance. Holmes poured in 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds — 6 of them in the second half — including a clutch free throw that pushed the Gladiators ahead by three with eight seconds remaining. He also buried a huge inbounds-play jumper late to help seal the win.

Jack Reinhardt added 12 key points, including a tough bucket in the paint during crunch time.

With the victory, Johns Creek moves to 4–0 in region play. The Gladiators now turn their attention to a massive home matchup next Tuesday against Gainesville — a game that will determine first place in the region.
