Lambert Tops Johns Creek 11–1 on Saturday
Johns Creek, Ga. — Johns Creek Varsity struggled to keep pace with the Lambert Longhorns on Saturday, falling 11–1 at Johns Creek High School on February 14.
Donny Myers got the start for the Gladiators and worked four and one‑third innings, striking out one before handing the ball to reliever Jayden Shah. Lambert’s lineup applied steady pressure throughout the afternoon, gradually building a lead that Johns Creek could not overcome.
At the plate, Sean Kennedy led the Gladiators’ offense, going 1-for-3 and driving in the team’s lone run. Drew King and Luke Volpe each added a hit, but Johns Creek was unable to generate the sustained offense needed to close the gap.
The Gladiators will look to regroup quickly as they return home on Monday, February 16, to take on the Northview Titans.
