Varsity Girls Tennis Battles in Close Region Match Against Roswell
The Johns Creek Varsity Girls Tennis team delivered a strong and determined performance in yesterday’s region matchup against Roswell High School, ultimately falling in a close 2–3 decision. The match showcased the team’s competitive spirit and resilience throughout the afternoon.
Several matches were tightly contested, highlighted by an intense three‑set battle at Line 1 Doubles. Leila Pointer and Ishaal Shaban fought through each point with grit, pushing the match to a decisive third set before narrowly coming up short. Their effort anchored an overall strong showing for the team.
Although the final outcome favored Roswell, the Gladiators gained valuable experience and demonstrated continued growth as they move deeper into region play.
Johns Creek will return to the courts this Thursday for another important region matchup, this time against Milton High School. The team looks forward to building on their performance and competing with the same toughness and heart.
