For the second game in a row the Johns Creek Gladiators outshot their opponents. This afternoon they triggered 29 shots on goal compared to Walton’s 25, but still ended up losing 6-2 to the Raiders.
Down 3-0 in the first, Johns Creek Senior Cole Carter got the Glads on the board with a nifty wrap around that would send the home team down by two, 3-1 heading into the second period of play.
Walton roared back with a couple more in the second, but Johns Creek was able to find the back of the net one more time when Turner Woods fired a hard shot on net that Carter poked over to Max Pricinsky for a powerplay marker. Johns Creek was stymied by the Walton tendy the rest of the way. The Raiders added one more in the third making the final 6-2 for the visitors from Marietta.
The Gladiators continue to look for their first win of the season next Sunday, October 27th against Collins Hill.
